Syberia: The World Before - is a critically acclaimed adventure game series created in 2002 by Benoit Sokol that already has three installments, and Syberia: The World Before will be next. Although the first two games were popular with gamers, Syberia 3, released in 2017, received controversy due to its new mechanics, especially regarding the game's movement, which was no longer "point and click". This is something that didn't convince fans, but they also didn't really like the graphics and were considered a bit dated for a 2017 game.

Apparently, when Microïds and Benoit Sokal announced in 2019 that they were working on Syberia: The World Before, the franchise's fourth episode, fans disappointed with Syberia 3 were also worried about the future of the series. Syberia: The World Before returns to classic point-and-click gameplay once again, and we'll be playing more than just Kate Walker, the protagonist of the previous three games, as the story will take place in two different eras.
